The personal as political.

Gawd I am looking gray and old these daze.  They really wanted to do a group shot!

Folks had to work almost as hard to avoid the Krsnas as they do to walk around the indigent panhandlers. I love that. I love watching the emotion at play across those stretched tight faux bourgeois faces. Weelll, how seriously can you use the terms 'bourgeois' and 'Stone Road Mall,' in the same sentence? Lend me some writerly slack on that one?

Big shiny new diesel bus for Krsna. Must have been rented I suppose . . . .

Talk about an acid flashback (oops! I suppose it must be considered politically incorrect and/or gauche beyond comprehension to use a lead-in like that these daze. Ah well, never one to stand on ceremony, let us plunge on ahead, shall we? A flashback is sure as f*** is what it felt like when I heard that damned music (and those little 'ching-ching-ching *** ching-ching-ching' bells) floating around the corner before I hit the Square.
Great guys as always. The 'hail fellow well met' member (i.e. the greeter), the reasonable excuse for a musician member, the Fearless Leader member, and the 'laying back in the weeds watching to see whether you might be material' member. The more things change . . .

I do rather like the safety pylon orange sarongs though.
